FAQs

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that sometimes life gets in the way of playing pickleball. If you need to cancel a reservation, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. For memberships, please refer to our terms and conditions for more information.

What are your payment methods?

We accept all major credit cards as well as cash and debit. For online bookings, payment is required at the time of booking. For memberships, we offer flexible payment plans to suit your needs.

Do I need a membership to play at your facility?

No, you do not need a membership to play at our facility. However, if you are hoping to book a court you will need to register for a CourtReserve account by clicking on the button at the top of your screen that says "Booking Platform". Non-members are able to book a court 7 days in advance. While a membership isn't required, members do have certain perks such as reduced costs to play as well as 10 or 14 day advanced booking privileges.

How do I book a private court?

To book a private court you'll want to click on the "Booking Platform" button at the top of the screen. This takes you to our booking software CourtReserve. If you don't have an account you'll need to make one in order to make any bookings. Once that's done and you're logged in, you'll see at the top of the main page Book a Court, click that link. This will open our calendar of events where you can navigate to the desired day/time to register. Simply click Reserve on the time you want and make sure to tell us the names of everyone attending.

I can't seem to register for your Round Robins, why is that?

There could be any number of reasons. Our booking system is very particular as to not allow unranked/lower ranked individuals from entering higher tiered brackets. Make sure you have given us your proof of rating by sending it to info@calgarypickleballcenter.com once we have that we will attach the rating to your profile. Another common problem is gender information missing from your profile. Make sure to fill out as much information as possible in CourtReserve if the system doesn't see that you are male/female, you won't be able to take part in those specific events!

I have a DUPR rating how do I attach it to my CourtReserve account?

There are a couple easy ways of getting your DUPR rating attached to your CourtReserve account. First, if you want to do this yourself, head to DUPR's website at www.mydupr.com once there you'll want to sign in, go to dashboard, click on clubs (along the left side of the screen),  then search "The Pickleball Centers" in the search bar click on our club and click join! We'll update our DUPR once a day to make sure we get to each invite. If you'd rather have one of our staff members handle this directly, simply send us an email with your DUPR ID Number (located in the DUPR app main dashboard) and our staff will link your account with our backend system.

How do I get rated at your club?

To get a rating attached to your CourtReserve account you'll need to send proof of a valid rating to: info@calgarypickleballcenter.com

We want to ensure a quality playing experience so we do require proof of rating! We will accept ratings from most clubs/organizations as well as pickleball brackets (not self rated) and DUPR (with a minimum of 20 games). If you're not sure if your rating is valid send us an email either way and we can give you an answer directly.

If a round robin or other event doesn't have enough participants, what happens?

In the event that one of our round robins doesn't have a minimum of 4 participants, we will cancel that occurrence. Our staff will reach out by phone and email around 8:30 PM the evening before to let all participants know of the cancellation. Make sure you have both your email and phone number on file so we can get in touch!

Do you offer membership freezes?

At this time membership freezes are not an option. We offer month-to-month memberships that you're able to cancel at any time. Additionally, be on the lookout for a "snow bird special" membership that will be available between March & October next year.
